Clean Laser Focus Lens

After the laser has been used for a period of time, the laser focus lens may accumulate too much dust or oil, resulting in a significant decrease in the laser cutting ability. At this time, the laser focus lens needs to be cleaned to restore the engraving and cutting capabilities of the laser module. It is recommended that the cleaning and maintenance frequency be at least once a week.

Maintenance steps (The laser module displayed here is in 20W.)

Step1/4 Ensure the power switch is off, then remove the laser module

Step2/4 Take off the lens hood.

Step 3/4 Remove the nozzle and air assist adapter from the laser module.

Step 4/4 Clean the inner and outer frames of the hood with paper towels or dust-free cloths dampened with alcohol; and clean the lenses and red-light outlets with detergent using cotton swabs dampened with alcohol.

If the laser focus lens has burn marks and there is no way to erase it, you need to replace it with a new focus lens. We have configured an additional focus lens for you and placed it in the accessory box. You can use the new focus lens to replace the damaged focus lens.
