TOOCAA Studio Tutorial
TOOCAA Studio is a multi-functional online editing tool launched by TOOCAA that is compatible with Windows and MacOS systems. It integrates an intuitive design interface, powerful editing functions, and efficient laser control, supporting creators throughout the process, from inspiration to precise processing. TOOCAA Studio supports parameter presets for processing various materials, and provides functions such as real-time preview, path optimization, camera intelligent calibration, and rotating accessory application. It is deeply integrated with TOOCAA L2 and its accessories to create an extremely smooth creative experience that can be easily mastered by both individual designers and professional users.

Menu Bar
Functional Description
File
- Save as GCode: Save the project as a GCode file
Edit
- Undo: Cancel the last operation
- Redo: Perform the last canceled operation again
- Delete: Delete the selected object on the canvas
Tools
- Select: Click to select the object or click Options
- Move: Click to drag the canvas
- Import: Click to import pictures. Currently, TOOCAA Studio only supports the import of JPG, PNG, SVG, and DXF files.
- Vector: Click to draw a vector
- Rectangle: Click to draw the rectangle
- Ellipse: Click to draw a circle
- Text: Click to enter text
- Imagestroke: Click to trace the edge of the image (only available for selected images)
Laser Tools
- Calibrate Camera Alignment: Click to start the camera function
- Rotary Selection: Click to start the rotating accessory function
Language
- Chinese: Click to select Chinese mode
- English: Click to select English mode

Functional Description
Notification
- Notification: Click to view the reminder
Connect device
- Connect device: Click to connect device
Device connection considerations:
1.TOOCAA L2 a serial port verification method: unplug the USB cable and reconnect it. The new serial port that appears in the pop-up window is the TOOCAA L2 serial port.
2.Please make sure that the connected serial port is the TOOCAA L2 serial port. If it is connected to other device serial ports, TOOCAA L2 will not be able to use it.

Toolbar
Functional Description
- Position: Adjust the position of the element on the X and Y axes in the canvas (the element coordinate position defaults to the upper left corner of the element border)
- Size: Adjust element width and height
- Rounded Corners: Add rounded corners to an element (currently only works on rectangles)
- Proportional Constraints: Click to constrain element proportions
- Align Left: Aligns the left edge of the selected object
- Horizontal Align Center: Aligns the horizontal center of the selected object
- Align Right: Aligns the right edge of the selected object
- Align Top: Aligns the top of the selected object
- Vertical Align Center: Aligns the vertical center of the selected object
- Align Bottom: Aligns the bottom of the selected object
- Align Center: Aligns the center of the selected object

Functional Description
- Select: Click to select the project or click Options
- Shape: Hover to select a project
- Import: Click to import materials. Currently, TOOCAA Studio only supports the import of PNG, JPG, SVG, and DXF files.

Functional Description
- Layer list: Switch and adjust the layer where the project or image is located
- Mode: Line cutting, line engraving, fill engraving
- Speed/Power: Adjust parameters of the layer (speed, power, times, interval)
- Output: Export/non-export layers
- Show: Layers appear/disappear in the canvas
Layer processing priority: Layer order > creation order of items within a layer

Functional Description
- Canvas Size: The canvas size is 415mm×395mm, which perfectly fits the TOOCAA L2 working area.

Processing Toolbar
- Frame: Preview the operation position in real-time in TOOCAA L2 based on the canvas content
- Move: Click to control the movement of the laser module (mainly applicable to rotating accessory mode)
- Start: Click to start running
- Pause: Click to pause the run (can continue running)
- Stop: Click to stop the run (cannot continue to run)
- Reset: Click to control the laser module to return to the absolute coordinate origin
- 1: Click to control the laser module to move 1mm forward, backward, left, and right
- 10: Click to control the laser module to move 10mm forward, backward, left, and right

Rotary Accessories Toolbar
Functional Description
- Chuck Rotary Mode Select: Chuck Rotary, Sphere Rotary, Ring Rotary, 180° adjustable flip mode
- Roller Rotary Mode Select: Roller Rotary
- Diameter: In Chuck mode, you need to enter the object's diameter
- Disconnect: Disconnect rotary accessory mode
